FRIENDS & FOUNDATION

Our purpose:

We work in conjunction with the Library Board and staff to advance and encourage appreciation,
understanding, enjoyment and use of our library.

How we serve:

We use dues from memberships and money generated from book sales and other fundraising activities
to fulfill special needs of the library that fall outside the budget received from the City of Goddard.
Our volunteers also help with library programs and activities.

We work to encourage literacy and equitable access to information for all who live, work, or visit our
community.

Recent projects:

Sponsored the 2024 Kansas Reads to Preschoolers program by providing 500 copies of to be distributed to children throughout the Goddard area

Membership benefits:

Our memberships align with the calendar year. And with three levels to choose from, we offer an option for everyone!

BASIC: Free to join.

Receive access to our newsletters where you will find announcements of programs, special events, and volunteer opportunities that are available to all Friends members.

INDIVIDUAL: $15 Annually

In addition to our newsletters, receive a waiver of overdue fees on Goddard Public Library materials (excluding tech equipment, multi-sensory/learning kits, DVD's) borrowed on your library account plus exclusive access to a collection of membership passes to local attractions.

HOUSEHOLD: $40 Annually

Our household memberships extend the benefits of individual membership to every library cardholder residing at your address.

You can renew your membership online or join for the first time here.

If online payments are not your preference, you may complete one of our membership forms and mail it to us along with your payment, or you may drop it off in person at the library during one of your visits.

Coming in 2025-A Collection of cultural venue passes will be available exclusively to Friends members who have joined at the individual and family levels.

These passes are only available to paying members of the Friends and Foundation. Please note that passes are held at the Goddard Public Library and can be checkout for three days.

These are organizational/business passes, meaning we only have 1 pass available for each location. These passes are first come, first serve, so there is no hold list. You can call the library to check for availability.
